It is used in the treatment of leucorrhea and atherosclerosis.
In modern terminology Lavanga is known as clove and is predominantly used for the treatment of colds and cough. It is also said to be a very good breath freshener. In addition to this herbal preparation is carminative and stomachic. Divya Lavangadi Vati is used in Ayurveda as a heart tonic, aphrodisiac, antipyretic, anti-diabetic, cerebral and gastrointestinal toner.

Lavangadi Vati dosage: 1 – 2 tablets 2 – 3 times a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to use?
It can be used for a period of 3- 6 months.
Dosage: One tablet twice a day along with luke warm water.

Over dosage may cause slight burning sensation in stomach.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in cool dry place.
Lavangadi Vati ingredients, how to make:
Lavanga – Clove – Syzigium aromaticum – 10 g
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 10 g
Aksha – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica – 10 g
Sara of Khadira – Black Catechu (heart wood extract) – Acacia catechu – 30 g
Water decoction of Babbula – Acacia Arabica – Quantity Sufficient.
Fine powder of above ingredients is triturated with the decoction, a semisolid paste is made, pills are prepared.
